When A Winter Storm Takes Over Your Unionville Home

Winter storms pose many threats against you and you home. If you lose power due to a winter storm. Always start looking for other heating options. Please take extra precautions when dealing with new or different heating options for you home.
Small personal heaters that are battery operated are a good option for a smaller area for a short time. Some may want to try gas or kerosene heaters. Please use extra caution when using any form of a fuel feed heating option. Heaters can put off Vapors that can be very dangerous in a poorly ventilated room. Heating sources need oxygen to operate correctly, if they are being used in a smaller room they may not work to their full or correct potential.
When using wood burning fireplaces, wood burning stoves or even pellet stoves, please make sure that the front of the stove or hearth has protective screening and or closers. Be sure the ventilation is adequate for the size of the home and the heating source that you are going to use. Also, make sure that there is nothing around the source of heat that could easily ignite.
