When summer is coming to an end but it still humid and sticky outside. The days at the lake and pool are soon coming to a close. Finishing up those last few swimming lessons and picnics at the park. Kids are gearing up for fall sports and activities.  School is just around the corner. How ever Mother Nature has one last storm up her sleeve for the summer.  As we are cleaning the sand off our flip-flops and picking up the last pool noodles. There is are large, dark clouds that are starting to roll our way. As we are gathering everyone and everything up before we get rained on, the house is all we are looking for, not knowing that it has been storm there for hours.

As we get closer to home, thankful we missed that storm back at our favorite spot.  As we pull up the house there are tree limbs everywhere, our home looks like it was turned upside down. We have broken windows from the debris. It has not just rained into the house but poured the whole time that it was storming here. As we try to walk around, trying to see what all Mother Nature threw at our house, we finally go inside to see everything that we hold dear is floating on the floor. Photos and other beloved items are soaked.
